Villa Eläintarha
Villa Eläintarha is an artist residency in a wooden villa in the centre of Helsinki, next to Töölönlahti bay.
Between 2019 – 2023, HIAP was responsible for the residency of Villa Eläintarha which was initiated by the City of Helsinki in 1998.
Now, under the direction of cooperative Myymäälä2, in partnership with the City of Helsinki and with the support of HIAP, Villa Eläintarha is entering an exciting new phase. This is made possible by a collaborative approach, uniting organisations and individuals who are committed to keeping this beautiful space alive and vibrant.
